Today, I want to talk about home care. Most people who visit our shop come with the goal of addressing skin issues, but some choose to only receive treatments and skip purchasing products. The problem with this is that, after about 1-2 weeks of seeing good results from the treatment, they often find their skin back the bad condition.

The key point here is that home care is an essential part of the treatment process. Even if you receive the best treatment, if you don’t take care of your skin properly at home, your skin will return to its previous condition. The reason for this is simple: you only see me for one or two days a month, but the other 29-30 days, you are taking care of your skin at home. Many clients use products that are not as high-quality as medical-grade products, and those who have problematic skin tend to overuse a lot of different products because they hear advice from various sources. However, using more products does not necessarily improve the skin. In fact, overusing products can weaken the skin barrier and lead to inflammation.

On the other hand, clients who follow home care advice and come for treatments regularly (1-2 times a month) see noticeable improvements in their skin.

Having lived in Korea for three years as a customer myself, I understand this well. Some shops recommend unnecessary products, and this can make people feel resistant to product suggestions. I also feel that way when someone recommends something I don’t need.

However, through my own experience, one of my business goals is to avoid making my clients feel uncomfortable or pressured when recommending products. I only recommend products to those who truly need them. I don’t recommend products to clients who already have good skin. In fact, people with good skin often ask me first what products they should use.

So, I really want to tell you all this, If you truly want to improve your skin and achieve clear, smooth skin, please consider home care as an important part of the process. If I recommend certain products to you, I encourage you to purchase and use them together with the treatments. It will make a significant difference.
